1. How to manually update the theme to the latest version?
Hello all valued customers,
In this guide, I will show you how to manually update the theme to the latest version.
Please follow the 4 steps below to update the theme to the latest version:
1/ Download the latest version of the theme from Themeforest.
To do this, please go to Themeforest.net and log in to your Envato account - the account you used to buy the theme before. Then go to the download page, find the theme and download the "Installable WordPress file only" - this is the theme file for the latest version:
2/ Upload the theme files:
Please go to Appearance > Themes > click the "Add New" button on the top left > then click on "Upload Theme" > click "Choose File" and select the theme file for the latest version you downloaded in step 1 > click "Install Now" > wait until the installation is complete and you see a message like the image below, then click on "Replace current with uploaded" button and wait for WordPress to update the theme for you - and you can click "Go to Themes page" when it's done:
3/ Update the plugins that come with the latest update:
After updating the theme file, open Appearance > Install Plugins > click on "Update Available" and update the plugins that come with the new update.
Note: If you don't see the Appearance > Install Plugins page, it means that the update doesn't come with plugin updates, and you can ignore this step.

First, Thank you for loving our themes so far and keep use it for now.
This guide will help you improve your site on google PageSpeed Insights. Please do following steps below:
1/ Optimized images:
For all images display like the posts thumbnail, you can optimize it by use plugin Optimus – WordPress Image Optimizer - this plugin reduces the file size of uploaded media files automatically. Depending on the image and format, reductions in size of up to 70% are possible.
After installed this plugin, go to Tools > Optimize all images and click button "Optimize all images"
2/ Use W3 Total Cache for Leverage browser caching & create a cache to make your site faster.
W3 Total Cache is a power plugin to make your site load faster, also it can make your site have better scrore on google page speed insights.
Let's install & activate this plugin, after that, go to admin page > Performance > General Settings and make your config look like this image:
3/ Use Autoptimize plugin to Minify Javascript and CSS
After installed this plugin, go to Settings > Autoptimize and do following the images below:
That's all we're using for our demos.
Everything else, our themes will handle by Lazyload images & some functions from itseft.
Note Important:
- If you changed something and you see the front-end doesn't update - you need to clearly all the caches ( clear all the caches from W3 Total Cache & Autoptimize )
- The speed of your site is also based on the hosting you are using - If you're using a bad hosting, of course your site can't load fast with other sites using Soledad theme.
