Hi Penci Design,

I have read through some forum discussions and watched some tutorials. Not sure if the tutorials are up to date since what I recieved in my download doesn't seem to match what the tutorials have said.

Here are my main two problems:

1. I can't get the featured slider to work. I have enabled the feature slider and adjusted my settings so that it should be pulling the category I have all my posts in that I want to feature on the slider. ??? My images are all bigger than what the recommended size is and are in .jpg form.

2. I cannot write in my post. I have chosen a standard post format. I have attached a screen shot of what it looks like when I open a new post. I can't type very well since the font color is white, so I can't see what I'm typing. I cannot find the menu bar for all the writing tools (bold, underline, heading 1,2,3..., links, etc.) I have tried creating a form and adding a new form and it won't allow me to even do that. I don't necessarily need a form on every page I just want to write a blog post in a normal way. Help!???

Hi Penci,

I tried deactivating all plugins and then activating them one by one, but none of it made a difference. I also tried a different theme and that didn't seem to make any difference. I even re-installed WordPress all together and then re-installed Soledad. I was able to post for one day, but since then it has gone back to what it was before. Even the slider worked for the first day as well and isn't working any more.

Any other suggestions?
