    Hi,

I'd like to add some meta tags to my posts for the pinterest rich pins (recipe). Where can I add it in the <head> and <body> of my posts?

I have to add Schema.org or hrecipe markups between the <head> </head> section of my HTML code for each page I want to enable recipe Rich Pins on.

    https://developers.pinterest.com/docs/rich-pins/recipes/?

    https://help.pinterest.com/en/articles/enable-rich-pins-your-site?source=dev_page

Please, I hope you can help me. I have tried everything.

    Kind regards,

    Tim

    Hi,

We recommend you use Yoast SEO plugin to do that.

Please check this guide to know how to do that.

Thank you for your answer. I already did this. I did some other attemps, and they works!

All the meta tags are shown in the rich pin. Except the ingredients. I have to add schema.org markups in the wysiwyg editor. Thats a lot of extra work. Is it possible to take this in account in the next update of Soledad?

    Kind regards,

    Tim

    Hi,

Yes, I added for example these markups (for the rich pins) in the tekst area: https://screencast.com/t/Qvib98XQUC

Then you see them in the source: https://screencast.com/t/wt0XthGpVP

But there is a big chance that these markups disappear when you make some changes in your post en then clicking 'save post'. My markups don't have the right markup anymore (like this https://screencast.com/t/Mwn4uQWY ) en are no rich pins anymore.

That's why I asked if there is a possibility you can take that in account in a next update of Soledad.

    Kind regards,

    Tim

    Hi,

Thank you so much. How did you make the shortcode and rendered it? Maybe I can do it myself in the feature.

And, when I don't update Penci Shortcode, I will not have the latest version. Can you maybe take this in the next update as a new feature?
