    Dear all,

I just bought this theme and it is amazing. Many thanks for creating it. I have two main issues that I am struggling with, and would kindly like some help.

    1. I am trying to create a page with text at the beginning and then, below, a list with one of the categories I have created. Please find attached a screenshot (attach 1) of what I would like. I have tried with a blog costume page template. However, when I create it, no matter if I add text in the text editor, it doesn't appear and what appear are actually the latest posts. I only want a specific category with some introductory text above. Is there a way to do it by code? I cannot do it even with a normal page with sidebar.

    2. Is there a way to customize the first text of a post just to three or maximum four lines? (See attach 2). It is all about aesthetic. The text is mixing even if I include the insert read more tag. (See attach 2).

I hope you can help me as soon as possible.

    All the best,

    Juan

    Hi,

Thank you for loving our theme and your great words.

1/ To do that, you need to use Visual Composer to config your homepage.

Please check this video tutorial to know how to config homepage by use Visual Composer.

2/ You can custom excerpt length via Customize > Other Layout Options > Custom Excerpt Length.

And you can go to Customize > General Options > scroll down to bottom and check on "Remove Hatom Data Markup" to remove the text "was last modified..."

    Best Regards,

    Hi,

    Thanks for your quick response.

I do not have a visual composer and personally don't want to buy it just for this small option. Is there a way to do it by code?

    Best

    Juan

    Hi,

No - You don't need to buy Visual Composer to use it.

This theme include this plugin from download package.

To get it, please go to download page and re-download "All files and documentation" - After that, extract this download package and find visual_composer.zip file from plugins folder.

    Best Regards,
