I am using Soledad theme for creating food blog for my client. I need your support for slider options. Right now, I have set default home page as '1st Standard Then Grid' (check www.kunxitelab.com/funfoodfrolic). There is a default slider showing 3 recipes of a particular category then on next slide again 3 recipes from same category. I want here total 9 recipes from 3 categories (like first 3 from category A, then 3 from category B and then 3 recipes from category C). Something like https://www.gimmesomeoven.com/. this site is having 3 tabs to show 3 featured, then 3 popular and then 3 latest recipes on slider. We need something like this. Is there any way to achieve this via code or any plugin?
Please help me out for above and share revert asap.
Unfortunately, currently this theme doesn't support this feature.
I just can recommend you use featured category to select any posts you want to display on featured slider:
1/ Create a new category - Example: "Slider"
2/ Add all the posts you want to display on the slider to this category.
3/ Go to Customize > Featured Slider Options > on "Select Featured Category" > select category "Slider" and check to "Hide Featured Category" to hide this category appears on your site.
One more thing I want to know. Actually if I choose any layout from available home page layouts then I can not edit the sections which I want to show on home page. I like the current slider which I have set on home so is it possible that I create a new page with design and layout as I want to create a custom home page but how can I use same slider on that custom page? I want this default slider having 3 post at same time.
Kindly share suggestion if I need to make any change in code.
