Hello, whenever I type in my url: www.writersuntapped.com it goes to a page which displays all my recent blog posts (which is what I want). However, when I click on the page "home" on the primary menu, it goes to www.writersuntapped.com/home-2/
How do I change my home page (the tab on the primary menu bar) to go to www.writersuntapped.com? I want to get rid of the /home-2/
Also, I want to add a sidebar on my homepage that has a photo of myself and a short 'about me' blurb. How do I do this?
Go to Appearance > Menus > Use "Custom Link" on the left side > and fill http://writersuntapped.com/ to URL.
2/ To do that, you need to Enable Sidebar on the homepage, please go to Customize > General Options > and check to "Enable Sidebar on Homepage", also there, you can enable sidebar for Category, Tags, Search, Archive Page via "Enable Sidebar on Archive", you can enable sidebar for single posts page via "Enable Sidebar on Single".
After enable sidebar, go to Appearance > Widgets > Drag & Drop any widget you want to display on your sidebar to "Main Sidebar" on the right side.
I recommend you set for each posts a featured image like on this image and read documentation for this theme here to know how to config this theme. It's short and easy to understand.

1/ Please update again your menu item "Home".
