    Hi,

    We cannot seem to add a Google AdSense code to our AMP. We always get the result showed in the attachment. Additionally, how do we make the mobile website version default to AMP?

    Also, are there going to be any in-content ad placements for AMP as well as desktop version?

    Thank you,

    Josh

    Hi,

    1/ Can you send me your admin url and admin account ( username and password ) - in a private reply? I will take it a look.

    2/ Google AMP just apply for google, it appears when someone search on google and click to your site. It's the way AMP work. So, you can't make the mobile website version default to AMP.

    3/ For desktop, here is all ad spaces in this theme:

    - Customize > General Options > Google Adsense Code to Display Above Posts Layout for Archive Pages ( display on category, tags, search, archive page )

    - Customize > General Options >  Google Adsense Code to Display Below Posts Layout for Archive Pages ( display on category, tags, search, archive page )

    - Customize > Footer Options > Add Google Adsense Code Above Footer

    - Customize > Single Options > Add Google Adsense code below post description ( display on single a post )

    - Customize > Single Options > Add Google Adsense code in the end of content posts ( display on single a post )

    - Appearance > Widgets > drag & drop widget "Custom HTML" to "Main Sidebar" and put your ads code to "Content" of "Custom HTML" widget.

    - If you using Magazine layout, and you want to put google ads below the featured categories, please go to Posts > Categories > edit your featured categories > on edit a category screen, scroll down and you will see option for put google adsense code below the category.

    Hi,

    We also would like to ask how do we activate the block layouts for Visual Composer? They seem to be only active for the homepage.

    Moreover, you guys wouldn't happen to know of any search plugins that are AMP compatible? For some reason the WordPress default search only shows our posts and never our pages. We use Algolia, which is the best out there in our opinion.

    We just want to give you guys props on this theme. It's truly amazing. Looks so clean and professional and there are so many customizations for it, it's awesome.

    Thanks,

    Josh

    Hi,

    1/ For google adsense issue, I just check your site and I see your google adsense code is wrong.

    The google adsense code will look like this:

    <script async src="//pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/js/adsbygoogle.js"></script>
    <ins class="adsbygoogle"
    style="display:inline-block;width:300px;height:600px"
    data-ad-client="ca-pub-8867615490227638"
    data-ad-slot="9372363505"></ins>
    <script>
    (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});
    </script>

    When your code is:

    <a href="//pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/js/adsbygoogle.js">//pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/js/adsbygoogle.js</a>
    <!-- Vertical AMP Banner -->
    <ins class="adsbygoogle" style="width:300px;height:600px"></ins> (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});

    Please check your google adsense code again.

    2/ If you want to config your site by use Visual Composer, please check this video tutorial.

    3/ Sorry for now this theme doesn't support this feature. We will consider to add more option to remove Pages from search results on AMP.

    Best Regards,

    Hi,

    That's the code I put in, and it automatically changes it to the <a href code. I just ran a test, so I copied AdSense code and pasted it, saved and published it, then refreshed the Customize AMP page and it switched the code automatically to the <a href. When we had an AMP plugin they only had us put in the ca-pub-xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx and the data-ad-slot= (only the numbers for the data-ad-slot=).

    And thank you for the Visual Composer information. That makes things much better than our old theme. There's a lot to this theme, we love it.

    And we don't want to remove pages, we want to add them. I assume the search is defaulted to the WordPress search because all of our pages are taken out of the search for some reason. Our pages are mainly what people come to our site for.

    Another thing, we have our own review system, so the review plugin this theme comes with restricts us in adding our actual review for a game. Is there any way to just have our own rating without the rating strictly going off of the 5 criterias that are built in?

    Thank you,

    Josh

    Hi,

    1/ Can you send me your google adsense codes in a private reply? We will try with this.

    2/ Please try remove this codes like on this image to do that.

    3/ If so, you can use your review system, don't use Penci Review plugin from us

    Hi,

    1. That fixed the issue! Awesome, thank you.
    2. We would want to have the option to fully customize it with no limitations I guess you can say. What we would do is keep "The Goods" and "The Bads". Then we would like the option to put in our "Average Score", instead of having the "Average Score" strictly average the five different criteria that are not optional. In result, we would not include the criteria. Another suggestion: having the ability to add as many criteria as needed? Your guys' review UI is very clean and sharp, and we would like to use that.

    Thank you,

    Josh

    Hi,

    1. We have absolutely no errors on any of our AMP pages or our desktop version. Amazing! We thank you guys for your great customer service, extremely fast response time, and fixing the errors almost immediately. It feels great!
    2. And the in-content ads for AMP is allowed by Google, they just don't want ads exceeding the content, which is understandable.

    Thanks and regards,

    Josh

    Hi,

    Makes sense about the WordPress update since it happened right after. Everything is great and you guys are top notch. It should take some time before Google accepts all of the pages we submitted. Everything looks good and we feel much better! We just applied for Google and Bing News so we wanted to get those errors fixed and we're extremely happy you guys fixed them so darn quickly. Our old AMP plugin had 10 errors on every page and their customer service was good but their response time was horrible. They never fixed the issues either, so we did our research and felt good going with you guys. We were definitely right about that one.

    Thanks and regards,

    Josh
