Instead of the general wordpress way that linked wordpress pages show (with title and a photo, etc) it is showing with quotation marks. This looks hideous.
Um, no. No I did not. I am not using block quotes, I am simply putting in the link and it generates the wordpress preview -- and on page shows this. I'm not stupid!
Why is it showing as blockquote? That's not in the settings. It's generating this from the code - because on backend it is literally just copying and pasting URLS which should generate preview.

This issue caused by you did use blockquote for your text.
Please go to your editor and un-blockquote on that text/links to make it gone.

I'm sure you has blockquote from your wysing editor. Because I see blockquote appears to your front-end.
Check this image.
Seem you did copy that text from other websites - It has blockquote and you copied all text & blockquote to your site.
You can go to edit that posts, click to Text tab of your wysing editor - find and remove the blockquote.

I just checked your site and I found that issue caused by a plugin from you.
I just try deactivate all plugins and it working fine.
So, please check it for yourself.
Deactivate all plugins first. And enable each plugin to check the plugin caused this issue.
