Hi, sorry a newbie in website design. I've already purchased and downloaded the Soledad theme for my personal food blog. What are my next steps to install it properly? Wanted to use either the Food or the Fashion & Lifestyle looks. Thanks!
Okay so quick question, am I supposed to upload the whole .zip folder i downloaded from Envato? Or just the theme folders inside (Soledad and Soledad child). Cause my page looks weird and empty as it is now. And when I tried to upload the whole folder, I got an error saying .css sheet or page is missing. Trying to follow the video tutorial too but I get lost right away.
Okay so i've uploaded the soledad zip, the required plugins, and imported the Fashion Lifestyle Demo Data. Unfortunately I didn't like it so I tried overwriting it with the Food Demo. Now it's so messy. Any leads how to fix this? Thanks!
After that, go to Customize > click to button "Reset" at the top left of customize.
b/ Import dem data of any demo you want. It's way 2 in the guide here Way 2: Import Only customizer data
2/ If you want to start again with a fresh site, you can use plugin Wordpress Reset - This plugin will reset your wordpress site to begin - a fresh site.
Okay that didn't seem to work. I did the reset thrice already and everytime it's just making the site look more haywire. The old data/demo doesn't seem to be flushed out, only adds everytime I try to reset and re-install. Can I just delete the uploaded soledad theme and start a new?
Okay, I think I know how to read and do the necessary instructions. As I've said, I have already tried what was instructed: installed the reset plugin, went into customize and clicked on the reset button. After which, I imported customizer data only (way 2), still the same thing happens.
Again, as i've mentioned prior, I am a newbie and am totally clueless with these things that's why i'm seeking help, and reading is not one of my problems.
I see the changes now, thanks a bunch! Quick question though, it seems to still be a mixed demo of food and fashion? Cause i see photos of the fashion still. Thanks!

Also, you should check documentation for Soledad theme here to know how to config this theme.

You just need to use soledad.zip file for your upload.

Yeah, because you did import Fashion demo & Food demo.
You can remove it by remove any post you don't want to appears.
