Why is the link covering the logo image?

Hi,
This will based on your featured image. If you want to change the image for that post, let's change featured image for that post.

The image I used is the featured image. Why is the link covering it, and also is there a way to make the link look better visually?

1/ It based on your config. Check this image
2/ Unfortunately, for now this theme doesn't support this feature. We supports only one style for post format link.

Yes, I understand how to add a link. The problem is, the link is covering the featured image when it's clicked on. Are there certain dimensions I need to adhere to?

I see you're fill the link for link format is "https://www.courierpostonline.com/story/entertainment/2018/01/18/ritz-theatre-medium/1042175001/" have you wrong? Please check again your config because I just checked it on our theme and I see it still working fine.
