You're doing wrong and the support staff just let you know about what you did wrong. And with each replied, he said with you "hi" & "please" - I don't know why you said it's rude. About the support, it's included by Envato - not from us - Envato put it that way and requirement us follow it. We're selling this theme $59 and Envato get 30% in this $59. We just get $42 from you and we need to pay for our developers each month to keep this theme update & makes new features, also we need to pay for each support staff $2-3k/ month to stay here and answer all questions for all customers. So, please don't think that with $59 you paid, it's expensive price for our theme.

Have you checked it and do following it? It's just in some mins and all the steps are clearly - All our customers can config the magazine layout with that video tutorial, don't know why you can't do that.
