    Would very much like to exclude posts that are very old. Ideally only select from posts in the last year. Is there away to amend the code on this PI so that it will only select from posts in a certain date range? Like only 12 months old or newer?

    Unfortunately, currently this theme doesn't support this feature. We will consider to add more this feature in the future updates.
