Is it possible to use the Portfolio Mason 3 style on the home page to display blog posts, projects, and other things? And if so, is it possible to have a text overlay on the images?
I tried to install the Visual Composer included in the theme .zip file, however, it was rejected due to its size.
1/ The portfolio will query for portfolio post type only.
2/ To do that, you need to config your homepage by use Visual Composer to do that. In the Visual Composer element, this theme already has Portfolio element. Check this video to know how to config homepage by use Visual Composer.
3/ About install visual composer issues, please contact with your hosting and tell with them increase the maximum upload file size and you will can install it.
