Yeah, that work exactly. Because if we make the parent menu click to open child menu items - a lot of users can't set link for parent menu. Also, It's UX of readers, so you don't need to worries about this, the readers know need to click on dropdown arrow to open child menu items.
I don't think it is obvious at all that a user has to tap the small arrow to expand the menu on mobile. Are you able to offer any advice on how I would make the parent menu open the child menu items please? Would the parent item need to just have the same css class as the arrow (.fa)? Any pointers much appreciated.

Pressing "About WOW!MEDIA" could not expand the sub-menu. User must press "fa-angle-down" to expand it.
Is this a feature? Or do we have a setting/method to make the text expanding the sub-menu?

If we do that, some parent menu items has link will can't go to that link. So, it's hard to control it.
Anyway, we will consider to find a solution for this.
