When I have that awesome slider on, it shows the news posts. But... the List for the new entries also shows the same new posts as in the slider, it's kinda double. You see the same image/post twice if you know what I mean.
Is it possible to have the newest article in the slider, but not on the first on the List blogpostings?
I think you should use featured category to select the posts you want to display for your slider and exclude it from your latest posts. Please do following steps:
1/ Create a new category - Example: "Slider"
2/ Add all the posts you want to display on the slider to this category.
3/ Go to Customize > Featured Slider Options > on "Select Featured Category" > select category "Slider" and check to "Hide Featured Category" to hide this category appears on your site and check to "Exclude All Posts In Featured Category In Latest Posts on Homepage"
