i was wondering if it is possible to have in featured slider - just the latest 3 posts, and not have them re-appear again under the slider. Or else choose 3 featured posts to appear in the slider alone, and then the others underneath in chronological order. As now, they appear in slider, then they are repeated underneath again.
I think you can select the posts you want to display on the slider by use tag(s) or a featured categories.
You can create a new tag and add this tag for any posts you want to display on the slider. After that, go to Customize > Featured Slider Options > on "Filter Featured Slider By" > select "Tags" and on "Fill List Featured Tags for Featured Slider" fill the tag slug here.
Also, you can check to "Exclude All Posts In Featured Category/Featured Tags In Latest Posts on Homepage" to make the posts on the slider exclude on the latest posts on the homepage.
Note that: You need to update the theme to latest version ( version 5.2 ) to get this feature. To update this theme, please check this guide:
