I am still working on a new site with Soledad. We use different post categories and want to show custom sidebars for each category. Unfortunately the systems only shows the custom sidebar on the posts itself (single post view), but not in the category view. There it shows the default sidebar.
Currently, there is no way to do that. But, we will consider to add more this feature in the next update version of Soledad themePlease wait for it. Maybe the next update will come within about next 7 days.
Has this feature been added? If so, where do I find the options to assign a custom sidebar to only posts within a specific category and the specific category archive?
This feature has been added. Please make sure you've updated the theme to latest version and go to Posts > Categories > edit a category > scroll down and you will see that.
In next time, please create a new ticket, don't put your reply to another ticket because that customer will get notice from your reply.

Ok, that is good news because I believe that is a necessary feature if someone uses custom sidebars.
