    Hi pennews, 

    I'm starting to use PenNews theme to write blog posts, and I cannot figure out how to use the short code in the visual editor.

    For example, when I insert "review" short code, how am I supposed to edit it?

    Or is there an option to use WP bakery front end editor?

    Hi,

    You can enable WPBakery on posts by do following this guide.

    And, when you use WPBakery on posts, all auto excerpt will be removed because Wordpress doesn't allow shortcodes inside excerpt - for any posts use WPBakery, you need to add custom excerpt by do following this video tutorial.
