I am getting this error message after the recent update:
Warning: Illegal string offset 'forecast' in /home/tips4gam/public_html/wp-content/plugins/penci-framework/weather/weather.php on line 321 Weather widget You need to fill API key to Customize > General Options > Weather API Key to get this widget work.
I never had the weather widget activated nor will we have it activated anytime soon.
We've using API from https://openweathermap.org/ ( most of themes use API from this site to get weather ) - and some day ago, this site update the policy and you need to go this site and create API key for you ( https://openweathermap.org/appid ).
Fill the API key to Customize > General Options > Weather API Key to get this widget work.
Note : You need to wait sometime after API key created to get the weather work.
Oky, I created an account as well as placed the API code in Customize > General Options > Weather API Key. I am still getting the message.
Since this theme has the weather widget built in you have no choice to but to put in an API Key correct? We do not want the weather showing up on our site. My question is even though we have the API Key plugged in, will we have the option to turn on or off the weather?

Hi,
I see you're using Weather widget via Appearance > Widgets > Header Sign-Up Form > that's why you got that message.
If you don't use Weather widget, let's remove that widgets from Header Sign-Up Form sidebar.

Hi,
EDIT: We actually used that widget to create the white bar going across the top. It was not randomly put in.
Thank you. Not sure why that randomly popped in there, but it's something I took note on. Thanks for your help!
Thanks and regards,
Josh
