I am trying to add a image link on my "our gear box" it is a box below my logo one of three boxes. I have pasted the link into where I want it but I can not click on the link. I would prefer the link to be an image but when I copy the image link into the page it shows as text.
How can I add affiliate links to my "our gear" page?

I don't see your "our gear" page - so I don't know detail what do you want there

You just need go to Customize > Homepage Options > on "Homepage Featured Box 1st URL" > fill the link there.
Make sure your link include http:// or https://
