Today I am running 5.1 and I want to update to 5.3 (the last release so far). Looking the detais I can see that it asks to change my theme to another, delete the current Soledad and then install the new release (considering I have 5.1 and the automated proess if 5.2+ only).
My question here: is it safe to remove and then reinstall? My concern is the amount of time spent to let my blog as I wanted and then lose all settings so far reinstalling the theme.
I know that items like Menu are WP related. And about all other settings?
Yeah, It's safe for all customizer data & all your content.
But, I recommend you backup all your widgets ( Apperance > Widgets ) - Because as I see, some customers has this issue ( not All ). For everything other, it doesn't affect.
