    Is there an option for right sidebar only on the mainpage? Seems I can only do it on posts and pages. I don’t want a left sidebar.

    Yeah, of course you can do that.

    Let's go to Pages > All Pages > edit your Front-Page > hover & edit layout for Penci Container element from WPBakery Page Builder - check this image
