In Customize > Archive, Category . . . > Archive Layout Style - The last three settings - Standard, Classic and Overlay settings are not working. I can toggle between the first three - Default, Boxed and Grid just fine but the last three are not responding.
I just updated it. If I highlight one of my authors and then am sent to the archive, the archive will not respond to layout changes in Customize - I want the classic layout as I have in my blog and in my category layout (both work fine).
Also, the hover color for author is your default purple or blue or whatever color that is. Unless I am in a content block that allows me to change the color of the author, I can't figure out where to change it to my site hover color.
1/ Please make sure you selected layout for all page type here - not only for category pages.
2/ Please go to Customize > Archive, Category, Blog, Tag, Search Pages Options > scroll down and you can see options for custom colors for archive pages.
Yes, I have properly selected all three layouts. As I've said, the last three settings for archive - Standard, Classic and Overlay settings are not working - the first three (Default, Boxed and Grid) are working fine. Again, I am selecting an author which is bringing me to a page with all posts from that author - I am assuming the page I am referring to is an archive page. It seems to be because when I change the archive view to default, boxed or grid in the Customizer, the view changes. But it won't change for Standard, Classic or Overlay (which it does fine in the Category layout).
As far as the hover color of the author goes, in the section you pointed me to, I don't see an option for meta hover color and I don't think meta hover for archive is looking back at any other hover color selections because I don't have your default hover set anywhere that I am aware of.

Have you update the plugin Penci Framework to latest version?
If not, please go to Appearance > Install Plugins > and update the plugin Penci Framework.
