I'm using a "secondary" category (named Featured) to pick and choose which posts are listed in the homepage slider. Lets say I write a post about Linux, which I also wan't in the homepage slider, I'll assign the categories Featured and Linux.
The problem appears when using breadcrumbs, all posts I've assigned to multiple categories (including Featured), appears under the category Featured rather than any other.
In the example above, the post will appear in breadcrumbs like this:
Home > Featured > A post about Linux
rather than
Home > Linux > A post about Linux.
Is there a way I can make certain categories (in this case the category "Featured") an exception from the breadcrumbs?
If so, I think you should use Featured Tags to pick the posts for display on Featured Slider.
Please go to Customize > Featured Slider Options > Select "Featured Tags" and create a tag & add this tag for all the posts you want to display on the slider.
When you done, you can remove category "Featured" as well.
Note: Make sure you're using latest version of Soledad ( 5.3 ) to get Featured Tags feature. If not, let's update this theme by do following this guide.
