    Hi

    If you activate Vafpress Post Formats UI the old post format box disappears. So there is no way to enable the play/sound/gallery overlay icons on the thumbnails.

    Hi,

    When you activate "Vafpress Post Formats UI" plugin - go to edit a post, you can see tabs above the post title - click on any tab for post format you want.

    The plugin help you for easy to control posts format.
