1/ For style.css file error - that's not important because wordpress doesn't validate some css supports for another browsers ( for Opera, Firefox old version ) - so, you can ignore that.
2/ For PHP files - as I can see you've modified that file - and your codes is wrong - that caused the issues with PHP error. Please check it again.
Also, I recommend you don't edit the theme files if you don't know much about the codes
The attachment is describing my problem perfectly.. I tried to deactivate all the plugins to see if this is going to help.
