Header & Footer Don't Match After Demo Load
Closed

    Hi,

I loaded the demo data. However, the header and the footer do not match the demo. I know that I can change the appearance of the header and footer in Customize, but is there a way to add certain files or to do it in a way that allows me to get all of the images and colors correct without having to go do it manually?

    Thanks,

    K

    Hi,

Have you changed the theme name folder from pennews to another one?

Because this issue just appears when you changed the theme name folder or you did install the theme wrong.

If you changed the theme name folder, please change it back to pennews.

If you don't do that, please send me:

    - Your admin url

    - Your admin account ( username and password )

    - Your FTP account ( FTP host, FTP username, FTP password ) or your hosting account.

And we will help you install again the theme in the right way.

    Best Regards,

    Hi,

I didn't change the name of the folder. It is pennews. I installed the theme in 2 ways. I  installed it by moving the unzipped pennews folder over to theme directory. The header and footer were messed up. I deleted everything and then went back and did a fresh install using the zip file and everything showed up as expected. You can close this ticket.

    Thanks,

    Hi,

OK. I wiped all of the data and switched to a different demo and the header and footer did not populate correctly. Since it did populate correctly the first time, before I switched to a different template, I think something else is happening.

    Thanks,

    K

    Hi,

This will be mixed if you import multiple demos together.

If your site doesn't exists your old data - you can use plugin Worppress Reset to reset everything to default - like when you just setup Wordpress. And do the config again.

Note: If you use this plugin, you need to activate again the theme & plugins after do reset.
