The theme is fantastic, options are nearly unlimited. Very good work. The very first theme I buy since 2001, when I built my site. I regretted depending on free themes so far. Strongly recommended for all users. If you are lightly experienced in Wordpress and have well structured material, you could have it up and running in 1-2 days work in one of the theme’s templates. Two questions:

Q1: Is it possible to show not only one category from each post, but all the categories selected for this specific post?

Q2: (continue on the same line): is it possible to have two “types” of categories, where the second one can be chosen to show in specific areas than the other one. I am asking because in some websites (like mine), the user who uploads the posts is not the author. So, I have a list of authors as sub-categories (under the category “author”). All sub-categories under “author” are names of authors. I may want to treat those categories different to the normal categories, which are just the category of the post. Note that tags are reserved for other types of category either, so can’t use them for the authors. I find it a constraint that most themes (if not all) treat the user who submits the article as the “author”. Any ideas would be welcome here.

    Many thanks.

    Hi,

Thank you for loving our theme and your great words.

For all your questions, unfortunately currently this theme doesn't support this features.

For point 1/ we will consider to add more this feature in the next update version of PenNews.

For point 2/ That's very hard to do that because we can't identify what's types will show it below the categories to display there. Because each website has different types..

ok, thanks. On point 1: as I purchased the theme  (and have support for next 6 months), will I be allowed to update it with any new version, and until when? only for as long as I've got support?

I can define the order of categories, and I see that the one category that appears is the first in this order. So, you may add an option to show the first or all the categories. I think it won't be too hard, as there is a php function that currently brings all the categories, rather than the first one. You do use this already in other areas, e.g. in single post below the title.

[On my second question, if you solve the first one roughly as I describe, it could be feasible to work it out somehow at the user's end]

    Kind regards,

    Andreas.

1/ Yeah, you can update the theme for lifetime with one purchased.

2/ Yeah, sure we will consider to add more this feature in the next update version of Soledad.
