    Hello,

when it comes to the category page, in the preview the text I have used as H1 in the post is repeated.

This is okay, but I want it to differ from the rest of the post preview texts, e.g. I would like to be bold.

How can I do this? Is there any special CSS code I could use or any option I can check/uncheck?

    Thanks

    Michael

    Hi,

I don't clearly about your question, can you show me url for this issue and tell me more about this?

    Sorry I guess I can´t, since it´s still in development mode password-secured.

I have attached a photo to show what I mean.

In this case "Knacken wir die 20.000kg Marke bei unserem Juli CleanUp" is the H1 I have used in the post itself. And I want this sentence to appear different than the rest of the content preview. It´s the BLOG ARCHIVE PAGE.

    Does this help?

Unfortunately I don´t really understand what is not clear. I have attached another two photos for you now.

I want to change the font size and font style of the text which the blog archive page shows (marked in red color on the attached photos ON THE ARCHIVE PAGE). Because this is the H1 of the blog post and it should look different as the normal content text.

Thanks a lot for your help

    Hi,

    Ahh, I understand it now.

Yeah, because by default, wordpress will ignore all HTML, shortcodes for the excerpt - and just get & display the text only. That's why in your case here - the heading changed to normal text.

With this case, I think you should use custom excerpt to display the excerpt in text only like you want - because use HTML inside excerpt text is impossible. You can check this guide to know how to use custom excerpt.

Not sure if this will help me, watched the video ... just to be clear, what you see on the new attached photo is not possible without custom excerpt?

    Thanks, Michael

    Hi,

I mean: you can't make that heading bold in the excerpt text. You just can custom content of that excerpt
