What works: I need to leave the "Wordpress" -> Settings -> choose your Blog-Page -> choose (-leave-empty-) And select in the Page-Dashboard -> "Custom Blog Page" Then I can display/notDisplay the Featured boxes.
What still does not work: If I set "Wordpress" -> Settings -> choose your Blog-Page -> my Blog-Page (Foerderprojekte) Then in the Page-Dashboard I can not! select-> "Custom Blog Page" --> Thisselection-box is not shown at all And then this bug occours where I do not want to not display featured boxes - but they are shown.
So,
my problem is fixed and the solution is to leave the "Wordpress"-Settings -> choose your Blog-Page -> choose (-leave-empty-)
Hi, i'm very happy with your soledad-theme.
One thing that I can't fix myself:
I have featured boxes activated on the "Home"-Page - which is fine.
But on the Blog-Page (Foerderprojekte) I can not disable the "Featured Boxes" although I set "Display Featured Boxes" to "No" in the settings
Is there another place - where I can disable it for the blog-page?
Hi,
To create a blog page, please do following steps:
1/ Go to Dashboard > Settings > Reading > Front Page Display > "Posts Page" > select "-- Select --"
2/ Go to edit your Blog Page > and set Template for this page is "Custom Blog Page"
And layout for this blog page will follow layout you've selected via Customize > General Options > Category, Tag, Search, Archive Layout

Hi Penci,
What I have found out:
What works:
I need to leave the "Wordpress" -> Settings -> choose your Blog-Page -> choose (-leave-empty-)
And select in the Page-Dashboard -> "Custom Blog Page"
Then I can display/notDisplay the Featured boxes.
What still does not work:
If I set "Wordpress" -> Settings -> choose your Blog-Page -> my Blog-Page (Foerderprojekte)
Then in the Page-Dashboard I can not! select-> "Custom Blog Page" --> Thisselection-box is not shown at all
And then this bug occours where I do not want to not display featured boxes - but they are shown.
So,
my problem is fixed and the solution is to leave the "Wordpress"-Settings -> choose your Blog-Page -> choose (-leave-empty-)
