    Hi Support Team,

when sharing a PenNews Post in Twitter and in the Google Search Results, i can see the VC Shortcodes. What could be the reason for this behavior?

    Kind regards

    Gregor

    Hi,

You can change this by use Yoast SEO plugin - the plugin recommend by the theme.

Let's go to Pages > All Pages > edit your front-page > scroll down and check this image: http://prntscr.com/l9ph6w

    Hi,

thanks. But what about the Google search results? And what is the reason for returning the shortcodes of Visual Composer? I think that's a bug, isn't ist?

I now used Yoast SEO plugin and edited the twitter description. Same behavior, the text includes the VC shortcodes which should be hidden.

    Hi,

1/ You can use Yoast SEO to change your homepage description on edit front-page

2/ You need to wait some days for Twitter update your site - It's not update instantly.

    Hi,

    1) I know that Yoast can be used to make individual descriptions. But I don't want to change the decription in general. I want to get rid of the shortcodes. For me this i s bug. The theme i used before didn't output any shortcodes at Google search results.

    2) I already deleted the tweet and reposted it. Additionally i tried it with a second post. Some behavior.

    Hi,

Let's check this image when I viewsource your site:

    http://prntscr.com/l9y7xc

Yoast SEO auto render your homepage description based on your page content - and of course, when you use page builder - everything from page content is shortcodes.

That's why you need to change it again to your description to replace with default render from Yoast SEO.

    Hi,

okay. Twitter got it just in the cache. I used the twitter card validator after i made the changes as you advised and now it works.

    Thank you very much.
