    I don't like how this featured image shows up vertically on this page. It is the cover of a magazine and it need to be that shape. Is there a way, when the image is vertical, that it can be smaller and aligned to the right, within the text at the top? 

    I need it to be the featured image so that it can be pulled into a box on the home page and the category page.

    Thanks for you help!

    Hi,

    You can go to Customize > Single Post Options > and check to "Hide Featured Image Auto Appears"

    Or you can edit this post > scroll down and check options for the posts at the bottom - you can change the posts to another styles..
