Image caption hover

    Hi, guys!

When I`m editing my posts, all the images captions are hovering and I would like it to stay fixed under the image. That way I can edit it easier and also add links. How can I stop the hovering?

*Note: if you go to the homepage or posts already edited and posted, the image caption is not hovering cause I've disabled that option. It`s only happening during post edit.

    Thanks!

    Hi,

Please check option for it via Customize > Single Post Options > Move Caption of Images to Below The Images

    Hi,

That option was already selected, but the problem persist. As I said: the hovering is happening while editing the post. Once the post is posted, the image caption hovering stops. I don`t know how to stop the hovering while the post is being edited.

    Hi,

Yeah, but the caption display like that on the editor doesn't affect anything to front-end and you still can edit your caption there. Why you need that for editor?

With the image caption hovering I can't add links to the caption, that's my biggest problem. I need to add some links because of image rights and stuff. And another thing, it's fastter and more pratical to edit the caption when it's no hovering. When it's hovering you have to open the image and then edit, it takes longer. Can I change that or not? I`m not happy with that detail.

    Hi,

I've removed hover effect for caption inside your editor. Please go to your editor Press Ctrl + F5 to make sure clear the cache.
After that, add links for caption images as you want.

    Hi,

I just tried again after watching the video. This is happening: when I try to select the image caption to edit it, the caption is hovering and disappearing, so it's impossible to click on it. In your video is different, the caption is still, so you are able to click on it and edit adding links etc.

Please go to Posts > edit the post you showing me on the video > Press Ctrl + F5 some times to clearly all the cache and check it again.

Seem you didn't do that. Because that's issues from the cache.

As I said, I did everything you instructed, and the problem is still here. Again, pressed Ctrl + F5 countless times and I even downloaded a plugin to clean the cache (wp super cache). Nothing changed.

Strange, because if it doens't work - It will doesn't work for all pages.

    Why it work for me?

Please try that on anonymous browser to get correct results.

  • MTRIPPER replied

This is very strange. If you are able to do it while using my wordpress login and password, it was supposed to continue working once I'm logged. I mean, it's the same wordpress, why is it not saving the change you made? I don't know how to try it on an anonymous browser. :/

    Hi,

That's the cache from the browser - It's not the cache from your site.

Check this guide to clearly the cache for your browser:
