I was wondering if it’s possible to have the first block of boxes of this version of the theme: http://soledad.pencidesign.com/soledad-travel-blog2/ used on an indivual page. I’m selecting “Soledad featured posts” but none of the options looks like that. Thanks.
If right - That's Featured Slider Style 37 - you can select it by edit your Front-Page > scroll down and you can see option to display featured slider.

Yes, that's the one. But I don't want to have it on the homepage, I want to use wherever I want in ohter pages. Is that possible?

Unfortunately, currently this theme doesn't support this block.. It just can display at the top of any page.
We will consider to add more this feature in the future updates
