By mistake I import a full demo instead of customized data on my test site. Is there any problem to use again the activation code after reverting to previous site version? Is there other way to remove unwanted content without losing existing content?
I'm now just checking pennews theme on my test site. I want to use it for my live site version. Is that mean that before applying it to live site I should deactivate it from the test site? Is it just simple as applying another theme to test site enough or I should do something else?
How to deal with theme activation on both test and live version of same site?
You can use the theme on the test site without activate the theme - The theme allow you 30 days for use before the message appears on the screen..
Also, to remove data from the demos, you need to go to:
Posts > All Posts > remove all posts from the demo.
Posts > Categories > remove all categories from the demo.
No problems to activate code after reverting to previous site version, no worries.
If you do using localhost ( example by use XAMPP ), you can activate the theme without any issue because the activate code doesn't apply for localhost.
Hi,
