What is the best way to upgrade from Soledad to PenNews. I tried doing so and now I've got both Soledad and Pennews widgets under Apperance > widgets... I don't see "PenNews Hotel News" in the "demos"....etc.
I have purchased 2 licences as I am using the them on our other site. I love Soledad but it doesn't have the features i need
NOTE: I took a look at your "showcase" and noticed that most are foreign and http://lookiebooks.be/ is coming up as page not found. It would be good if you had more examples from North America. I'd say of all the examples, https://dudethatcookz.com/ is the best.

Please backup your website before upgrade from Soledad to PenNews.
The first, you deactivated plugin come from the soledad theme and deactive Soledad theme.
Then install and active PenNews theme and you see notice install and active plugins come from PenNews theme ( http://prntscr.com/lqtt8o ).
Make sure that you install and active "PenNews Demo Importer" plugin.
After that go to PenNews > Import Demo Data as screenshot http://prntscr.com/lqtu2n
