    Hi, 

    I purchased the Soledad theme a few days ago to start building my blog. I also have the Yoast SEO plugin to help optimise my content.

    The plugin works fine for setting the URL, SEO title and meta description but it doesn't seem to be able to read any of the text on the pages that i've built in the posts section.

    As you can see in the screenshots, it flags there are 0 words but as you can see below that blog post is at least 500 words.

    Can someone please help me to get this to work?

    Hi,

    Seem that's issues between Yoast SEO plugin & Wordpress 5.0.

    I think it appears for all themes now - not for our theme only. So, I think the best solution here is wait a new update from Yoast SEO to fixed that issues.

    Or you can change your posts to Classic Editor by use plugin Classic Editor.

    Ahh no worries, thanks so much! I wasn't sure as I'd only just installed the theme.

    Hopefully Yoast can sort themselves out pretty soon :)

    The lastest yoast plugin 9.5 still does not fix the issue. For example Yoast is not add images to my sitemap anywhere. https://ridestoke.com/page-sitemap.xml

    This is response I have from Yoast support:

    If you are using a plugin or theme that doesn't send their content to our page analysis or sitemaps, please reach out to the developer and ask them about adding the functionality to their code. This KB article will help them with the implementation: Can I add data to the page analysis?
