Each article on the homepage or in the categories of articles that I put in my menu presents the articles with a photo highlighted and possibly an extract of the article. I would like this photo to be replaced by a small slider of several photos or you can scroll through the photos. I think I saw it in the demos but I do not know how to do it to do it.

Hi,
To do that, please use post format gallery. Let's do following steps:
1/ Make sure you've installed plugin Vafpress Post Formats UI - If not, let's go to Appearance > Install Plugins > install & activate plugin.
2/ Go to edit a post you want to create slider, and on edit a post screen:
- If you use old editor from Wordpress - see above the post title, click on "Gallery" tab and pick images for gallery slider there.
- If you use new editor from Wordpress 5 - pick images from "Post Format Data" > Video > on the right side.
