I can't for the life of me find the settings for a "pin it" button on my posts images. 

Is this feature supported?

I tried using that plugin, however I don't want the button to appear on every image of my site. 

For example, upon hover of my instagram slider widget both in the sidebar and footer, the button appears for a second before disappearing. 

Is there a way to disable this?

is it also possible to add this to the featured image? what would the image selector be for this?

Sorry, just noticed that on one of my images it is totally blown out. You can see this on the attachment. 

I know it's not your plugin but is it something to do with the theme

It looks to be how WordPress is styling href’s (a tag) inside of the block gallery.

I used the following CSS to override it until an update to the plugin comes out.

.wp-block-gallery .blocks-gallery-item a.pinit-button {  width: auto;  height: auto;
}
