Remove date from google search results

    Hi Team,

    I want to hide the date in google search results.

    I am using the Yoast SEO plugin and i have disabled the date viewing option through this plugin.

    But still, google is displaying the date in the search results.

    I have contacted Yoast team, and they said that, google is fetching the date from the posts or the theme.

    Date can be disabled by using some java script.

    I want to show the last modified date inside the posts only, and not in google search results.

    Please help me with this.

    Please confirm once that this change will only hide the date from the Google search results, and will not change anything apart from this. 

    Also let me know, if any other possible changes will take place after removing this code.

    Hi,

    Remove that code will hide author of posts also. If you remove only the date here - you will get error notice on google webmaster tool.

    If you're ok with that, you can remove only the date by do following this image
