Just installed the theme and now working on my homepage. A few burning questions though, because I don't really understand which feature I can accomplish within soledad theme, within wp bakery or within featured slider. Can you advise me on how to do the following:
1. How to add 1 featured post to the homepage? I'd like to change this every month.
2. How to add the three latest posts in a blog caroussel / slider.
3. How to add blogs per category / destination. E.g. blogs about Africa, from Asia.
4. Can I play with different layouts for these blog listings on the homepage? For example, for blogs per category (3) perhaps a magazine style suits best. But for latest posts a caroussel/slider would be nice.
5. Preferably, instead of no. 3, I'd like to use a filter for blogs per destinations/category. Please see the attached screenshot "blogs by interest". Could you please advise me how to easily create this?
1/ If you want to do that. I think the best way is use Text Block and paste your posts content - URL there. And you can change it for every month.
2/ This theme doens't support for add latest posts in the slider. This theme just supports for add a featured category by on a slider by use element "Soledad Featured Category" - with style: "Slider 3 Columns"
3/ Use "Soledad Featured Category" element like I said above.
4/ Yeah, you can play with all layouts from "Soledad Featured Category" & "Soledad Latest Posts" to select what's the layout fit for your requirements.
I think that demo is quite fine for your case
5/ Please use element "Portfolio" from WPBakery to do that. When you edit this element, click on "Build Query" button on the element to sort/filter your posts and add categories to display on filter there.

I installed the travel girl demo (http://soledad.pencidesign.com/soledad-travel-blog3). Can I work best with this one or do I need to install another one to have more options?

6/ Unfortunately, there is no way to revert it back because it completely removed by Envato Staffs.
