    Hello!

I am setting up my Homepage Featured Boxes (which I LOVE), but I'm having a small issue. I switched my previous layout with the Portfolio Layout, which seemed amazing, however when I set up the Portfolio Categories I noticed that the categories appeared in all of the Pages.

    Portfolio Layout Example

    using code [portfolio style="grid" number="-1" filter="true" column="2" all_text="All" /]

Homepage FEATURED BOXES - Camera Gear, Tips and Trick, Travel Destinations, Guides

Categories for Camera Gear = Lenses, Quick Buttons,  Settings, Setup your Camera

The Categories for Camera Gear appear on all of the pages with the portfolio setting. So I'm seeing Lenses and Camera Setup under Travel.

    1. If I were to keep the portfolio style, how can I get the categories to stay within their specified page?

    2. In addition - is there any way to link my posts to the portfolio? Or do I have to manually add them into NEW PROJECTS?

    OTHER OPTIONS

I used to have it set up where if I clicked on the Homepage Featured Box - it would lead to all of the posts within that Topic sorted by most recent, with an image, a short text blurb, share options and a Read More Button. For for example if I clicked on Travel, all of the posts tagged under travel would be there.

    1. Is there an easy way or a code to add to each of these pages - so I can have the grid layout as I stated above, when navigating from the Homepage Featured Boxes?

    2. Can I add categories and sorting abilities under the title like in the portfolio style?

    Hi,

For 1 & 2/ I recommend you use WPBakery Page Builder and use "Portfolio" element from WPBakery Page Builder to config your Portfolio.

Please check guide here to know how to get WPBakery Page Builder plugin.

When you installed that plugin, go to edit your page > switch to WPBakery Page Builder editor > find element "Soledad Portfolio" > and click build query button to build your queries - check this image

When you use Build Query on portfolio, fill the categories you want to appears ( if that's categories of posts, fill on "Categories" of Build Query, if that's categories of Portfolio fill on "Taxonomies" of Build Query )

The filter will appears like the order you fill in.

You also you can check this video tutorial to know how to config homepage by use WPBakery Page Builder.

3/ You can use element "Soledad Featured Boxes" from WPBakery to do that.

4/ Do you mean about re-order categories ? If so, please try use this plugin

    Best Regards,
