I had already read this. I would like the menu to remain open after the touch. Until the choice of the sub-category or the article? Maybe adding a piece of code. I remember that in the old theme this problem was solved for me.
I've tested your site on Ipad and when I did a soft touch - I can open your category mega menu like normal. If we make it open when you touch strong on that category mega menu - it will disable the link of parent menu item on category mega menu, a lot of customers need that links, so we can't disable it..

On the Ipad & Tablet the hover & click event will based on your touch.
If you do a soft touch, it will understand is hover, if you do a strong touch, it will understand is a click.
So, please do a soft touch to open your category mega menu.
