On the Featured Slider at the top of the page, I would like to list most of the categories, but not all of them. In the admin, I see the possibilities to either list all of the categories or just one of them. Is there a way to be more selective here?
Unfortunately, currently this theme doesn't support this feature. We will consider to add more this feature in the future updates.
Also, I think with your requirements, you can use Featured Tags to filter your slider.
Let's go to Posts > Tags > create a new tag - example: "featured"
After that, add this tag for all posts you want to display on the slider. When you done, please go to Customize > Featured Slider Options > on "Filter Featured Slider By" > select "Featured Tags" and fill the "featured" tag slug on the option below it "Fill List Featured Tags for Featured Slider".
Hm.. that will leave a strange tag on the tag-list at the bottom of the posts. But I will look at it. I would recommend to implement this feature, yes. Thanks for the answer
