I have a feeling something is wrong with the implementation of the YouTube API key.
So whenever I create a new API key specificly for PenNews in my Google account I must leave the "Application restrictions" on "None", when it is on "None" it works perfectly fine.
However this is a insecure implementation and that means anyone can just use that key since the key is basically in the url of the youtube query, in the correct way you should add a "Application restriction", now I tried first "IP addresses" and added my server ip, then pennews won't show the youtube videos anymore.
I then tried to add the "HTTP referrers" restriction and then PenNews won't show the youtube videos either, however when I put it back to "None" it all works fine again.
We use the same kind of youtube api implementation on our forum software and there it seems to work fine, so we are expecting that the pennews implementation is missing something.
If it still not woking ,please send me your api key and send me your website management information ( admin url site, username and password ). I will check it help you.
