    for the life of me, i cannot get rid of this Banner Spot in the theme. the sidebars don't do anything to change or delete.  please  help me.

    Hi,

    Please go to Appearance > Widgets > and check widgets inside custom sidebars: "Custom Sidebar 1", "Custom Sidebar 2", "Custom Sidebar 3", "Custom Sidebar 4", "Custom Sidebar 5", ....

    You can remove all widgets inside that custom sidebars to make all page will display Main Sidebar only.
