I have a problem when i try to write blog posts via the wordpress app on my ipad. Everything looks the same as on my mac, but when i go to create new blog post, the penci recipe option is gone. I installed it on my mac and everything works perfectly there.. Am i missing something? It should be possible to create new blog posts from ipad and phone aswell?

That's ipad interface from Wordpress.com.
I think you should contact with Wordpress.com support and ask them how to edit meta boxes on ipad
It's not issues related with the theme itself
