Hi, Ive downloaded and installed the Minimalism theme. I can't get the same options though for setting up how I want the Hompage to look, instead it's showing me a different set of layouts and the ones that come with the Minimalism theme are across the background of my homepage.
Ive attached a screenshot of both the options for the Minimalism theme and what mine is showing me.
Im not sure what image the dashboard>reading should look like as there is no image attached but I have it marked as latest posts. I have got rid of the menu issue across the homepage but I still don't have the same layout options as the Minimalism theme should have. I've attached a screenshot of the options I'm getting.
Thanks for getting back to me. I've watched the video but the problem is that when I go to general options>homepage layout none of the layouts that come with the Minimalism demo are an option. Its one that's on that demo list that I wanted to use and none of which are on mine. I've attached a list of what the Minimalism options are from the demo. My previous post has a screenshot attached of what I have when I go to homepage layout.
You have one homepage, right? So, you can't use all the homepage demos as we showing on the demos. You need to pick one demo you want to use and use it for your homepage.
And the video tutorial let you know how to setup it like the way you want.
I previously had another one of the demos but then changed it to this one (minamilism). I don't understand what I need to do? It's the minimalism demo content that is showing but just not the homepage option layouts when I go to choose them. If the other one is still installed also how do I get rid of it. I really don't know what I need to do here, as I say I can't choose the Minimalism layout options as they are not there as in the screenshots I have attached previously. Thats all I need to know, after that is fixed I know what to do.

I just really need to know why this is not an option to me when it should be with this theme. Please can you help me in telling me what I need to do to get this as an option.Have I installed it wrong or something? I don't know and I feel all I keep getting is referred to the video telling me what I do next but I know that and just want to know how to get that option in the first instance.

Please do following steps to make it look like on our demos:
1/ Go to Dashboard > Settings > Reading > and make sure your config look like this image.
2/ Go to Appearance > Menus > create or select a new menu for your main navigation > scroll down and check to "Primary Menu"
3/ Check this video tutorial to know how to config homepage magazine layout.

Ahh, sorry, I've forgot to attach it. But I checked on your site and I see you did it. So, there is no need to do step 1.

On the Minimal Simple magazine, we're using layout "Magazine Style 1"
You can select this layout and do following exactly like on the guide and you will understand how to config/setup it. Please give it a try first

That's why I said with you check the video tutorial I sent to know how to config the homepage magazine layout.
With your case, please do following steps:
1/ Go to Customize > General Options > on "Homepage Layout" > select layout "Magazine Style 2"
2/ Go to Customize > Homepage Options > on "List Featured Categories for Magazine Layouts" > fill:
inspiration, design, editor's picks
3/ Go to Posts > Categories > and:
Click edit category Inspiration > scroll down on "Select Featured Layout for Magazine Layout" > and select "Style 5 - Slider 2 Columns"
Click edit category Design > scroll down on "Select Featured Layout for Magazine Layout" > and select "Style 7 - Grid Layout"
Click edit category Editor's Picks > scroll down on "Select Featured Layout for Magazine Layout" > and select "Style 13 - Grid 3 Columns"
We've said all of that on the video tutorial I sent for you before, but seem you didn't watch it carefully.
