    Hello!

I switched with my existing blog to this theme and am really blown away by all the amazing opportunities and customizations!

I do have a little problem with the galleries though. When installing the theme it 'wiped away' my existing wordpress galleries. They don't appear on the website, though I can see them when editing the posts.

When I'm creating a new gallery, I have no options to swich between gallery styles at all ?!

I'm working for most of my posts with the elementor plugin - when I'm creating a 'wordpress gallery' there, I can swich between gallery styles, but when I add the gallery to the post, I don't see it appearing on the posts edit frame.

I already deactivated jetpack's gallery feature, as I thought that this may be the issue, but it seems that that's not the problem here.

I'm working on the wordpress version 5.2.1–de_DE
What can I do to resolve this issue?  Do you need login data for that?

I attached some screenshots. You can also see the current situation here: https://miles-and-shores.com/phillip-island-wilsons-promontory-national-park/ Thanks for your help!  All the Best, Christina

    Hi,

Thank you for purchased our theme and loving it.

As I checked, you're using Gallery from Jetpack plugin. If so, you need to disable gallery feature from the theme to make sure there is no any conflict.

You can do that via Customize > Single Options > Disable Gallery Feature from This Theme and everything will back to work finesmile.png

    Hi Penci Design!

I did use the galleries from jetpack and now that I have disabled your gallery styles they do show up again.
But I actually wanted to switch my galleries from Jetpack to your gallery options, as I prefer the ones you offer in the theme.

I disabled the jetpack plugin and when I haden't checked the 'disable gallery feature' I SHOULD be able to use your galleries, right?

But when I enter the 'add gallery' button, I don't see any of your options in the right bar and I somehow can't 'Update' my existing galleries (the ones made with jetpack) to your gallery style, as I also don't see any options there and the gallery does not show up.

What is the correct way to fix this by using YOUR gallery styles?

    Best Regards,

    Christina

    Hi,

If so, you can check options for disable gallery from Jetpack plugin.

After that, you can use our gallery style as normal.

Please check this video tutorial for more about how to config gallery from the theme.

    Hi PenciDesign,

the video tutorial show an older version. I now work with Gutenberg and no more with the old classic word press editor. How can I create one of your awsome gallery with gutenberg?

    Thanks for your help.

    Hi PenciDesign,

the video tutorial didn't help, because as highspeed_videos wrote, it all looks and works differently in Gutenberg.
BUT (also for @highspeed_videos): it finally worked as I completely deactivated the jetpack plugin!
Now galleries work the way they were supposed to be by the theme. They didn't work when the plugin was activated although I had turned off the galleries in the jetpack options.
maybe that'll do the trick for you as well?

@pencidesign: it would be supercool if you could update the videos to the gutenberg wordpress version, as lots of things work a little different now.
    Thanks for your time :-)
