I tried finding the solution to this problem all over theme customization but didn't get any luck. So the thing is, my homepage shows one whole article and then list of other posts instead of just showing a summary and other posts.
This looks very spammy to make people read a post which they didn't actually come for. Please help me solving this issue.

You can do that by go to Customize > Standard & Classic Layout Options > and check to "Auto Render Posts Excerpt"
